Job Brief:

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing and analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify defects, suggest improvements, and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to thoroughly evaluate software applications.
2. Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools.
3. Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications.
4. Perform both manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications.
5. Conduct regression testing to ensure that previously identified defects have been resolved.
6. Analyze test results and provide feedback to development teams.
7. Participate in design and code reviews to ensure that quality is built into the development process.
8. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
2. Proven experience in software quality assurance and testing.
3. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
4. Experience with both manual and automated testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
5. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

1. Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus.
2. Experience with performance testing tools and techniques.
3. Experience with API testing and test automation frameworks.
4. Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
