Job Brief:
We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing and analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify defects, suggest improvements, and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to thoroughly evaluate software applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools.
- Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Perform both manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that previously identified defects have been resolved.
- Analyze test results and provide feedback to development teams.
- Participate in design and code reviews to ensure that quality is built into the development process.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Experience with both manual and automated testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus.
- Experience with performance testing tools and techniques.
- Experience with API testing and test automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
